Hi guys,

I've been working on a new portfolio, and would like to know your initial impressions, as well as hear any comments you may have. It's not quite finished, I'm still working on the footer (as you will see), and various other areas.

What do you think of the copy?
Is it too dark?

So far I've been told that the Bauhaus font I'm using is no good, which I agree with, and that the graphics are too shiny. I'd really rather not have to do away with the graphics, as I spent quite a long time making them, and look pretty good in my opinion. The initial one (the crystal) still needs a bit of work though.

It seems a little disjointed - the different elements don't gel together into a unified style.

Yeah I hear what you're saying about it being disjointed, but other than that do you think it's ok?

I really like the content, message and structure, but i think that things like colors, fonts and elements are really poorly done (plus multicolor text is really annoying for readability purposes)

The layout looks good but it's too Grady and little unprofessional and also looks like elements are misaligned coz of the web structure.

Now the design trends are so different. Give a try in that way...

I kept the multicolouring in the font, I think it's needed for a splash of colour, but the background is toned down a lot, and it's neater in general. Also made a new logo.

Hello

Well, i'll post thing that i would change:

• SeeMyWork/ContactMe buttons look really bad
  
• Logo is ok but i think the grayish tone makes it not stand out, i would fix the gradient too
  
• Gradient on the Oooh. needs to be changed, this multicolor thing doesn't fit into design
  
• I would personally add more icons, ,,don't make user think''
  
• Read upon typography basics as well
  

• i've posted it somewhere on the forum as well, but i find it really inspiring, and suggest other people to look at it

I'll have another look at typography, it's my weakest point!
