FIZIX Interactive have decided to package up our internal publishing suite into a branded product, that you can purchase and install on your server to power your website.

This product is called VUE Publishing Suite, a rich publishing platform that allows you to create and nurture your online presence. Our platform offers a broad feature set, high levels of customization, powerful theme and template tools, a deep hook plugin system for extensions and we offer great support, all inclusive.

Out of the box VUE sports a broad range of features and exceptional customization options allowing users with zero or little technical knowledge to get up and running quickly with minimal fuss. Designers and developers can hit the ground running, molding and adapting VUE to your requirements, the only limit to VUE is your imagination.


Here is a brief overview of the platforms features:


Detailed Settings:
VUE sports a detailed and developer extendable settings scheme so you can configure your website to function how you want it to at the click of a button.


Theme Editor:
VUE features a detailed, unimposing theme editor where your designers can customize and create templates for individual UI components and modify styles freely. Your imagination is your limit.


Custom Field Sets:
Every website is different and has different data and information requirements. Thats why VUE leaves your data scheme up to you. The field editor allows you to define what data is stored for each type of content (i.e. article, review, product, user profile, gallery). The field manager is detailed allowing you to create many types of field and set whether these fields are private or visible on the website and for profile fields, whether the user can edit the data in the field themselves.


Plugins and Extensions
VUE features a deep hook plugin system allowing developers to extend or adapt VUE's functionality without having to modify the core codebase.


User Registration:
VUE has a complete membership system and even allows user to have their own personal profile. Various registration settings are available to administrators.


Page CMS:
The fully featured CMS allows content editors to create pages and manage page structure and content quickly and efficiently. Content creation is made easy via a rich graphical content editor and Media and Attachment Library for managing media and downloadable content.


Article and Blog CMS:
Create simple blogs or run a detailed article website, with support for multiple category assignment and multi-page/part articles.


Review CMS:
Want to create a review website? With VUE there is no need to hack an article/blog system into a review system, VUE sports reviews out of the box and even allows user contributed reviews. Administrators can define scoring rules and scoring representation.


Product Catalogue:
VUE's Product CMS allows you to create categorized product catalogues.


Galleries:
VUE features a complete gallery system and supports micro galleries that exist for specific content pages, so you can create an image gallery for individual pages such as a review or product.


Community Forum:
VUE features an integrated community forum which supports unlimited forum depth, full moderation tools, bbcode, emoticons, flood control and permission overrides which allow your administrators to set visibility and posting permissions on a forum by forum basis.


Media Library:
The VUE Media Library allows your editors to upload media content such as images to a central repository, easily allowing editors to embed media content into your pages and articles.


Attachments:
The VUE Attachment Manager allows editors to upload downloadable files such as documents and attach these files to your content. Administrators can define what types of files can be uploaded and set other upload rules such as maximum filesize.



Usergroups and Permissions:
VUE features a detailed usergroup and permission manager, allowing your administrators to create and modify usergroups and define what content and features your users have access to with a fine level of control.


Content Search:
Your users can search your content using either the simple search or advanced search feature.


User Commenting:
You can allow your users can comment on your content such as articles, products or reviews, providing valuable feedback and promoting discussion.


BBCode and Emoticons:
VUE provides safety and security for your user submitted content without sacrificing formatting control. All user submitted content can take advantage of BBCode tags allowing users to format comments, user reviews and private messages without entering HTML. Your users can also add emoticons to their content.


Private Messages:
Your users can message each other using the VUE Messenger system.


User Administration:
VUE has a full user management interface, allowing you to modify and manage user accounts, profiles and usergroups.
