Hi there

I have a mock-up design for a careers website, this not necessarily a website used to search up jobs but to feed in news about lifestyle in careers.

I have 2 mock-up designs please do tell me which one you prefer and why you don't prefer the other.

Thank you for your time and help, appreciate the feedback.

Much prefer the first one, the second one (with the atlas in the header) looks a bit bland and corporate. I'd consider moving the ad bar and social networking links to the right hand side at the top though and moving the header up a touch.

Also might be worth making the main two content panels white (or lighter) to increase contrast with the background.

I agree completely with hodephdesign, however I don't like the tabs. I am not sure if it because they are too tall or too bulky but I definitely don't like the way there is a gap between right had side of the last tab and the right hand edge of the content.
