Hi,

We're just building a site for a funeral directors, its a tricky one and they wanted to look modern but also very traditional with a 'classic' style. They don't really have a logo so we've made a very loose one for them.

Let us know what you think... any suggestions very welcome.

(no site images as of yet, sorry... in know these will change the overall effect)

Tricky is the word here as you don't want colours that are too bright and "full of life" also you don't want them to seem to corporate nor to free you also must not make the site too dark, I think you did a good job here, I like it's it really looks like what they do + it's elegant enough and modern enough. good job

Hello there,

Now that is a fantastic design. Really really well done. I can't wait to see it finished.

Nice clean, crisp design and is set to do well I assure you.

Very well done!

I think you've done well. The site is sober looking but still modern and classy. I don't think there's much I'd change as it is. Although if theres only one option under 'registering the death' then I don't think you need it. Just have 'registering the death' and when you click it, it gives you the option to find out where as well as what you need to do.

If I found your site I'd have absolutely no problem using it. It's a pity it's only a jpg though cause I'd like to hoke about but the front page looks great.

It will be interesting to see what pictures you come up with to stick in there though. I can't think what I'd put. All I can think of is gravestones and hearses, and I'm not sure if they'd be a good idea or not! Tricky one. Maybe pictures of nature, trees and that? Or old Black & White photos or something. Have you got any ideas yourself?

I have a site I'm redesigning but I've posted in the wrong place, would you mind having a look at mine? http://www.webdesign...e-design-gurus/
