Hi

I am currently looking for 6 Front End Web developers and would welcolme anyone to apply for the roles or if you know anyone suitable recommend them and if we place them we will pay you £1000*.

The roles are based in North London / North West Essex area and are paying up to £65k depending on your experience.

We want Front End Developers who have good UI experience and have experience using Javascript and ASP as a minimum. Other technologies / Skills will be trained

You will also need to be a British national for at least the last 5 years as SC clearance is required.

Front End Web Developer

My client are a technology and innovation leader specialising in many commercial markets around the world. They are a major technology exporter to more than 40 countries, including the US. Due to expansion they now require 6 Front End Web Developers to join the team.

The Role

As the Front End Web Developer you will be working on an n-tier distributed application using the J2EE framework. It is expected to comprise of 100+ user screens communicating to 10+ distributed services using both Ajax and Model View Controller mechanics.

Developers will take requirements from the web designer in the form of UI wireframes and Adobe Photoshop files using them to implement a pixel-perfect screen representation. The high and low level designs (described in UML) will inform the implementation when communicating with the back end services.

The developer will implement code, meeting agreed standards, using the agreed test framework. Once coding is complete, the developer will support the review, test, integration and sell-off activities of the component, as well as producing documentation where appropriate.

The Developer will:
• Code and Unit test user interface components and screens.
• Support the Integration, Test and Sell-Off of components.
• Attend formal project meetings and reviews.
• Work collaboratively within the team sharing ideas and experience with other members.

In addition, the Technical Lead will:
• Demonstrate excellence in technical design and implementation.
• Have a broad understanding of UI technologies including XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Act as a mentor for team members.
• Be focussed on delivery timescales, highlighting risks and slippages appropriately.
• Demonstrate communication skills in both technical and non-technical disciplines.
