I created a logo which was for a 'friend of a friend' for an events company and payment was promised.
I never actually received payment, but as it was for someone I knew; i didnt mind that nothing was said.
HOWEVER...
Now the tables have turned, the company was owned by two people, a friend and someone I didn't know.
My friend has now been legally pushed out of the company and has basically been royally f****ed over.
Do I still own that logo and have the legal right for them to dismiss it and not use it elsewhere otherwise facing something, such as IP ownership use?

Got any record of the promised payment?
Yes in Email, however no actual figure of payment was said. But payment was discussed and we must come to a conclusion of the set price.
Can I still send an invoice for an amount due?
