To any aspiring entrepreneurs, anybody with an interest in startup culture, or for those merely looking to expand their network and future employment prospects:

Project Startup was founded as a means of supporting student entrepreneurship and developing startup culture in the UK.

We've experienced first hand the difficulties and barriers that young student entrepreneurs currently face and decided that instead of waiting for change that may or may not happen, we'd make our own changes on our own terms.

Project Startup aims to:

-Provide access to mentoring and guidance at any stage in the startup process.
-Provide easy access to business incubation and workspaces.
-Breakdown all current barriers to support and provide assistance to any student entrepreneur from any background and any business sector.
-Raise awareness and build interest in startup culture to facilitate the widespread growth of a new generation of student entrepreneurs in the UK.
-Forge links between future co-founders, students and emerging startups and between prospects and future employers.
-Build networks and create friendships through a series of Expo's, Startup Fairs and networking events.
-Harness and develop innovation and innate business skill through a series of competitions, skill based challenges, mock start-ups and on-going projects.
-Develop and provide a series of extensive business incubation units in a range of student hubs throughout the UK.
-Spearhead the development and provision of student specific grants and funding for early stage pre-startup and start-up businesses.

Who is Project Startup open to?

Project Startup is aimed specifically at student entrepreneurs, aged 16-25. As such, this is where our focus lies and the majority of our efforts will be directed. However, our mission is to breakdown all current barriers and offer assistance to anyone looking to start their own business, so application is open to all.

How do I become involved with Project Startup?

Membership is available to any individual, or group, looking to start their own business or with an interest in startup culture. There are no membership fees and no costs to register.

Currently we are still in pre-startup and will be launching in mid February at the Startup Expo, until this time, to register an interest in Project Startup simply...
