Ok i look at this and all i see is crap, i get this with every single design!

No matter how hard i try to get a good clean design i am never happy with it, i am finding it difficult.

The clients area is within the vehicle industry.

Please Help lol, i will not be offended by honest comments, it will just drive me to do better so please give them!
I'm a coder XTHML Strict!, PHP / Javascript should i stick to the development aspect?

The designs are not actually designs yet, they are just chucked together in Photoshop to get a feel of how the layout should be... I am also finding it difficult to get any good pictures, should i make custom simple images ? :(

Rep offered on honest posts!
Thanks for your time,
NickyYo!

The second one is better, but the critisism I lay on both of them is this: I have no idea what the site is about! I'm guessing its to do with cars because there is a image of trucks in the second image, but what to do with cars?
You are inviting a quote, but a quote to do what? Hire a truck? fix a car? I just don't know.

Thanks for the feedback, yea that image of trucks will be cleaned up i might not even use it, I haven't added the content yet just trying to figure how it all should be laid out.

It is for a vehicle recovery and transportation firm, would you say that kind of layout would be ok to expand on?

Your links aren't loading for me, but based on kree8tor's review I would say that designing with content in mind may influence you to come up with a design solution you otherwise might have missed.

Embrace the content, and seek your inner designer peace. Namaste. (LOL)
