Hi gang,

I am just looking at testing the water with an Affiliate website.

Can anyone recommend a quick to set e-commerce solution, possibly Wordpress based or something similar.

The product feed would be coming in via an xml file.

To be honest with you it probably isn't worth your while unless you have a very niece product or service. Otherwise, you will have to spend plenty of your hard earned on marketing.
