Hey all,

Its been a long while since I wrote on here but Im not sure how I can do the following:

I have created a function in the theme functions.php file and I am not sure how I can put a wordpress tinymce editor into the new menu I have created, I want to have it save the data entered into a new table that will control variables on the theme that I want to hardcode.

Thanks all :)

Oki I have a little issue with not knowing where in the database it stores the data for my new fields.

Does anyone know what the following is doing? function wise:

update_themeoptions

I've found the data now in the wp_options table of my database but would like to create the data in a new one, just for the theme, is this recommended and how would I get started with this.

I looked at that but doesnt really show how it puts the data where it puts it, I mainly want to learn more of how wordpress interacts with the database and be able to make my themes setup a table of there own inside the database to keep it clean, what do you think?
