Picked up a few PPC clients this week (Not something I market for, but I don't shy away from) and just wondered how people charged for this?
I know that most people charge 10-15% of their clients monthly budget. Others have said they charge a commision, based on the potential value of each click, and others (me) charge on a monthly basis (plus a set up fee) where I set out what people get for their money.
What about everyone else?

Hi,
We've had this same question at Oyster. We decided that we would only charge for our time, rather than a percentage of spend. This seemed more fair to all customers and is more transparent for budgeting purposes.

Interesting thread....
A somewhat related question... what do you advise customers who have been given free PPC credits, for example on a new hosting account or domain registration. Are these really worth using for testing the water even if your not going to pay for a campaign or would you encourage a customer to take up the offer and incorporate it as part of your own campign with them??
Thanks
