Hello there,

Second template on the right looks much better. The ads on the first one just ruin the whole website instantly and defeat the purpose of it because people tend to click off your website right away if there is an ad there.

The greyed out status's are a bit too greyed out so I think they should just be normal colour.

I prefer the second template because it looks really professional and you've done a much better design for that one because it just looks brilliant.

I hope this helps.

The template from the right looks fine, but I have only one suggestion, at the bottom of the page, where visitors can select to browse to another pages by clicking that arrows, I suggest you to not leave them so rounded. The whole website have square corners, that rounded corners from the bottom of the page doesn't look good

Thanks cristeo for your feedback.

Any feedback for the 'Health Pulp' design?

I disagree with Cristebo, i actually like the rounded buttons at the bottom.

The second design is my favourite too by the way, just looks like you have put much more effort into it

Yes i notice that :)

I think site 1 is too "In your face". It looks hard to navigate, mainly due to everything looking the same (this probably doesnt make sense)

Hello again,

You've got it! The right screenshot is still my favourite, sorry.
On the right one I think the design flare is sort of lost at the very bottom where the copyright bit is. I think maybe just a line to seperate that part from the site would be fine but not all the way across.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks,

Thanks again Jake. I agree with you on the footer not to go all the way across. Any improvements need to be made on the 1St design?

Hello again Yazk21,

My thoughts for the first design, the Health Tweets box should be in line with Register at the top. The huge green box around where the 'Cool Mum Picks' part is, I think it should not be there and instead just have the background as white but keep the layout of the inside the same except for lining it up to the left of the health news orange banner. The round buttons should be small and slightly rounded square buttons with the same arrows. What I said before about the section at the bottom applies to this one too.

I think once you have made further changes to this, it will be much much better. But yeh, respect to you for being in the web design industry, it really can give you a lot back.

Cheers,
Jake Simmonds

Hi yazk21,

Like most of the reviews above, travel pulp design layout/color palette etc, work really well! Very professional!

The issue for me for Health pulp is that the design choices aren't as subtle or consistent. The rounded corners appear different (and some are pixelated on the edges e.g., 'Health News' header. Also I'm not too sure about the green-white gradient in the box under the 'health news' heading as it almost feels like a Microsoft Powerpoint slide (and it has an inner shadow as well as a shadow outside that -which is quite dark (perhaps a similar/darker shade of green instead of black?). Plus there's a radial gradient splotch in the footer that is perhaps too small and feels a little random compared to the larger version in the header of the travel site.

Also not sure how much you want to change...but the three colors blue, orange and green personally don't work as well together compared to the travel site! I'm guessing that with the word 'pulp' in the logo you may have been trying to aim for a 'juicy' sort of feel? If so perhaps the blue comes across as a little out of place.. hope this makes sense/helps!
