I am starting a small site here on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean sea which is simply listing all the wi-fi spots on the islands.
I would like it to be searchable, and linked to a simple Google map where all these places are marked (The map would be custom, meaning; I would like to be able dto mark all the places by myself, save it as a custom map, and use it on the front page) Each place on the map should also be clickable to view the dedicated page for this specific place -if you see what I mean.
I am trying to implement this in a wordpress environment,
I am talking about a very simple site with around 100 places to review, and nothing like a login part or anything like that, simple, searchable useable site.
How could this be made? Could someone guide me more specifically, suggest free scripts I could install etc, and how to link this to the Google map (VERY important) .
