client needed clean professional design

and now he says he want total change

the background, the banner and that's about it, red+blue never was something I liked personally, a much better combo if you must have blue is blue orange

also the repeating pattern on the banner and background does not look that good, perhaps smooth one out a bit, and try a different background patter and colour a different background all together, everything else looks pretty nice and pro.

Okay so I'm well rested and full of energy now.

Let's start at the top

the banner is awesome I'd keep it like that, only thing I'D personally change is the follow us font to something more appealing, colour and design wise, maybe change the font colour to something more grey, light blue would also do.

The menu
Red may be a powerful colour and designers should be careful with using it, but I think it fits the design here, not so sure about the roof pattern above it....my idea is how about each menu item being a roof tile?
also a font colour change would do, the black on red IS too powerfull, especially with that shadow effect it's hard to read.

the background

do not repeat the pattern from the banner in the background, also loose the dark blue it does not fit, either set it on dark grey light grey or in an extreme if you really want to bring out the main content use black as the background, a gradient will do not sure if any patterns are needed

the lower bar

Is awesome, looks awesome, optionally change it to black to see if you like it to try the same style you used in the banner see if you like that if both no keep it the way it is, it's awesome.



Everything else, top notch really pro made LOVE IT.

Try that, if the client is still not happy he might be looking for something completely different.
