Hi guys,

Wasnt sure where exactly to post this, but just wanted to share this excellent tool with you all. I really like its clean and clear interface which gives you a full summary and very detailed information on the performance of your website and ways to improve this further.

Please take a look: website optimization

I know there are already tools like google page speed which do this, but I felt this service had a more intuitive interface and doesnt require you to download any plugins.

This tool is ok just to know some information about your website, and so you will know if you need to improve your website speed load or not. The speed of your website is not essential for SEO, but is beneficial for visitors

Speed of a website is considered one of the measurements that Google uses, so yes something like this is very useful. But not only will it improve your SEO and potentially your rankings, it'll help with user experience, lower the bounce rate and possibly increase conversaion

Well..it mean that I didn't made myself understood.
Your speed load is not so important for SEO, it has impact, but a very tiny impact, as I said "is not essential for SEO" but this doesn't mean that don't matter for SEO.

Jason, yes, the speed of a website is one of Google measurements, but is one of more than 200 which Google uses to rank your website.

So, from a scale from 0 to 10, speed of your site is about 0,5% important

With this test, one of my websites is loading in 20,58 seconds, from Amsterdam, but still rank on first page on Google.com, on a medium competition keyword with 22 000 exact searches.

So, for me...this test.. is almost irrelevant.

Have a read around. It's not down to opinions :)

Google want highly quality, fast loading websites in their index. In fact, it's in their interest and business to serve such sites to their visitors.

Hence page speed as being a ranking factor.Hell, they even show you a graph in the GWT showing how fast your sites loads against a sample of other sites.

How much more of a stronger hint do you need? :) :)

Ok Web Guru, you do your job in your way, I do'it in my way
That was my opinion and is about how I act. When I think about the speed of a website, I want to make the website to load faster for visitors, not for SEO and if a visitor consider that a website is loading fast, that Google will also consider the same

Hmmm it's 'useful' but the site tested 3 times in a row manage to get between 95% and 82%. Not bad as a guesstimate.
