My new client wants an online booking system for his gym, so clients can book classes and personal training sessions. This will have to manage payments also. Any ideas on how the hell this will be implemented, as its something ive never had any experience with.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know there is the option of outsourcing the work to an experienced developer but I would like to think of this as a good opportunity to learn.

Thanks

Just a contact form with the added appropriate fields, no?

I know what you are at, but for this I see it being a bit more complex than that. It is more of a live timetable with all the classes listed in a calender, that can be selected and joined if there is any spaces left in that particular class. Then once they have added themselves to all the classes they want to attend in the near future, they will then need to pay online.

Edit.. Basically it will be a similar system to the likes of booking a hotel room online, on the hotel's website.

You should be able to do what you want to do with that, and it does integrate.
