For a "Web Guru" I'm not sure either are really up to that standard. Anyway, I digress, the first one puts the important information at my fingertips quicker. The slider on the second is too big and distracting, with no obvious call to action.

No they are not the same company the first one is what the web design team have come up with, and the second is something the client clients.

E-smartlabs' design looks better and does not contain striking errors.
