Hey lads
i have another Dribbble invite up for grabs. i dont wanna just give it away though as i think the last competition we did was a great success! (even though the winner does really use it that much so it was a bit of a waste) so I have decided im gonna run another competition!!! This time as its coming up to Christmas I have decided to theme it accordingly.

Can one of the mods move this into the Design Comp Section?

Design a "CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN TIMER" widget.

Basically design a timer that shows the days hours and minutes remaining till Christmas day. It has to be 400x300 in dimension (as per Dribbble guidelines) and should be simple & Christmasy yet classy.

Winner will be chosen on December 16th so you have over 2 weeks to do it.

You don't need to create a functional page, just a Dribble style 'shot'.

Far as I can see you got to bang up a design for a Xmas countdown time... After this im lost.

Once I have the design at the specified size, do I need to post it on here? signup with dribbble and put it on there somewhere?

And what is the prize? a invite to the dribbble service?

I had a couple of stabs and ended up with what you see below! Inspired by dodgy Christmas jumpers ;-)

Not sure the screenshots look great, but you can see the finished article at http://www.tenterfields.net (apologies if the load times are a little slow, as I haven't gone to the trouble of completely chopping down and optimizing the background pattern images!)

The tree and presents is a stock image which I dropped out the background, added scrolls and light effects then made all the stuff you see on the right plus snowflakes.
