I'm doing a big (for me anyway) illustration project in illustrator with big file sizes. I want to send my client updates from time to time without a lot of hassle and waiting for things to upload etc. What methods are good and quick?

I use ProofHQ.
Upload a PDF add your client's e-mail address and they receive an e-mail with a direct link to an online proof. The client has the option to add comments on the proof and approve online. It make life so much easier for the designer and the client ...I wouldn't work any other way.
