Hi All

I'm from Ukraine. My english bad, but I'm working on this problem.

I'm new in web-design. But I very love a design of western web-sites. Can you please see my works and say where I must work hardest? What mistakes did I make?

I asked on russian forums. They said that all works are very very bad and I don't understand nothing in web-design. But they didn't say where my works are bad and what I must change! I want draw better

In the start of my path (about 1 year ago) I made concept of UEFI BIOS for msi and won contest:MSI UEFI BIOS

I shown its on the forum. They said: "Burn it all! All are made wrong!"


When I shown iPhone concept somebody said that I made a piece of **** (sorry =) ) and I'm not able to work in Photoshop.

The main problem for me is picking up colors. I read some about a color circle, but my works didn't become more natural.

Maybe need some experiments with a saturation and hue of a color?

Yes, there is such feature in people in ex-USSR countries. This is a reason why I want become good in web-design and usability and go away from this country. But I am not sure that in other country will be a good relationship to an alien man.

Here forum where more skillful people bury me in the ground

I am also from ex-USSR country that's why I understand what you are talking about))) But you know, this forum is a really great resource, so I think here you will find a lot of people that will help you to become a pro and creative designer. I want to give you only one advice: "Rememer creativness is always valued"

Hello

Most of your projects are really good and most important more than good for it's roles (business site/shop doesn't need fireworks). If you had any bad reviews about these works, i think you should quote some of the opinions, so we could decide if they are true anyways.

What's more suprising is that you don't have a proper portfolio, can't count the blog.

I think your designs all look nice and professional, it might be a couple of things that needs improving (but even the best web designers always have somewhere to change here and there) but it is difficult for people to give you feedback on so many pages, why don't you post each page in one forum entry (preferably after you done the HTML code as it is easier to review a proper .html/.php page than an image) and see what people say..

We need to be careful about which forums we posts messages, all over the world you will find forums where people are there just to take their frustration on other people by making them feel bad. Luckily this forum is really good and people here always help each other.

People didn't say what was bad. They said that all is very bad and I must not work in web-design.
One people said that I don't know nothing about a color scheme(my main problem. So I copy colors from others sites and correct color scheme ), typography, modular grid, text grid and usability.

So I will very thankful if you give me something to read about this

I am new in web. I learn it about 2-3 months. and have no customers. I am afraid that I will not do serious orders. But I was surprized when administrator of Russian web-design forum (where I newcomer) asked me at the morning draw for him a simple and usable layout for SEO experiment. I made it very quickly and very surprized a customer
