Hi Guys,
I have just set up a little experiment regarding domain parking with a domain I have registered at 123 Reg.
Does anyone have any experience of domain parking?
Did you generate any revenue?
Are there any disadvantages to doing it?
Thanks,
Dave.

I don't know if this counts as a disadvantage but I will hate you for doing it.
If you aren't going to use the domain for a proper project, just give it up. There is a limited supply and you aren't doing anyone any favours by squatting it.

Don't sugar-coat it glowbridge, say it like it is!

Hi Guys,
While I appreciate it should be used for a 'proper project', I simply don't have the time to take it that far yet.
I'm not after an ethical argument, just some advice regarding other peoples experiences.
Thanks,
Dave.

I thought of one 'sort of' disadvantage...
If it does generate enough revenue to pay for itself, you might not get round to making that 'proper project' as quick as you were going to.
