Are Uk cheapest poor for uptime or is it just unlucky?

How much downtime have you had?
Its worth keeping in mind that every host has some downtime, occassionally, thats the nature of the beast when working with servers running 24/7..
What are the specs of the server your on?
Does it have redundant disk arrays, dual power supplies etc etc?

Am wondering if they possibly have a block on your internet providers IP address for whatever reason, hence a telephone number is essential...

I already looked, and even their "Contact us" is the smallest thing on the website, hidden at the bottom with no phone number, and links to other sections to contact them instead... The term "Getting what you pay for" is starting to spring to mind..
Heres an idea...
1. Try a different browser
2. Try a free proxy like this one www.http://hidemyass.com to view and access their site, if they are not blocking proxies (Doubt it)

If its cpanel, then its easy to do a server-to-server transfer, takes only a few minutes, if its plesk, then you can simply export your database and download your files (Or somebody else can) and the re-upload to the new host... Takes less than an hour in most cases..

Wonder what caused that then, as something malicious would have to be trying to hit their network hard to trigger a block at network level and not server level...
Ask them if they have your IP blacklisted, or any IP's from your provider..
