Hi,
I am looking to create a CSV database using an XML datafeed which I can then use to populate various websites with product listings.
The datafeed contains products and various related data and images that I will be selling. In future I would like to add more feeds to grow the database, and all being well, ultimately to build a website to list the products also.
I wonder if anybody is familiar with creating such a system and if they could help me to understand what the best way of doing this would be please, and any other pitfalls or advice that they can share with me.
Thanks and best regards

You could make one big xml file containing all your latest product data - this would then be used as the datasource for other feeds.
E.g. for google base, you could read this file and create the google base according to their spec.
It's not so much a system, rather just parsing xml files.

Thanks so much for your reply.
Some of the products have images associated that are stored separately on an FTP server. Do you know if it is possible to call these images via amazon or ebay?
For now I am working with one database and putting it on Amazon but I would like to start adding more feeds and rolling it out more widely than Amazon. It would be good to automate as much of the process as possible. I wondered if there is a standard protocol for achieveing this or if it is just a case of manually updating my master database and then manually uploading it from there.
Does that make sense?
Thanks
