What is the best way to learn how to use Illustrator for logos? I can come up with some nice concepts when drawing logo ideas on paper but I just can't get to grips with Illustrator. I've tried a few tutorials for logos but generally find them quite vague.
Have you got any good resources how to learn high quality logo design?
Thanks

Adobe software always gives you a hundred ways of doing the same thing, playing around with it is really the best way to go.
If you aren't already I'd get to grips with the pen tool. With that you can scan what you've done on paper in and just go round the lines.
This guys videos on YouTube have helped me many times.

Instead of tutorials for logos, find tutorials on Illustrator. The pen tool is your friend for tracing. Of course a cordless mouse is a must for precise controlled tracing of your sketch. It just takes lots of practicing with illustrator. If you have the concepts you can do killer logos with Illustrator if you can master it.

Actually a simple logo design allows for easy recognition and allows the logo to be versatile and memorable. Good logos feature something unexpected or unique without being overdrawn.
