Amercian verses Uk versions of Adobe products ?

Hi

I am looking at buying Adobe Indesign 5.5

Having looked around the N American version is someway cheaper than the UK version is there any reason why I can't buy the American one ?

I presume the size setting etc will be set as default differently but I know this can be changed via 'Preferences'.

If you are being sent a physical disk + box, you may get hit with VAT when it enters the UK.
You will also have to install it in American for the serial number to work. Other than that I do not know.
