Hi,
We are trying to create a very simple ecommerce website. However I want the first page customers to reach to be some sort of access gateway, which allows potential customers to enter a 5 digit code (which they will have been told about before going to the website). This code would need to be validated in the background, and if valid, would then allow them to order products from the shop. However I also need the 5 digit code to be recorded against their order.
There could be up to a hundred or so different codes. So many customers would use the same code as others.
I want it so they cannot order anything without entering the 5 digit code.
I hope that makes sense?
The shop itself will have no more than 10 products.
Has anyone a suggestion on the best way to do this? And what the simpliest software to use for the shop.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Rob.

This can certainly be done but you will have to get a custom extension coded up
