Reliable hosting and email? Godaddy very disappointing

Can anybody recommend a very good quality and reliable host that provides email that isn't marked as spam?
I signed up with godaddy and I find their site annoying and difficult to navigate. I have also just found out that my emails have been marked as spam by many different email providers. I'm sure I can sort it out with them if I have a long winded conversation with them but I would rather just move to a reliable host.
Any advice would be great.

Sadly thats what happens when selling off hosting for peanuts, it gets abused... Our hosting is far more reliable than this, but then we dont give away "unlimited amounts for next to nothing" and we do pay close attention to what is going on to prevent and/or deal with things like this quickly.

Godaddy are crap. No amount of Tom-foolery will stop your emails being marked as spam as many many sites hosted on their servers are blacklisted. You're better off redirecting your mails via Gmail (or similar).

It's amazing how many people go for godaddy really. The number of customers we've had that have been fobbed off by godaddy's support is unbelievable.

For the amount of times this same question gets asked, it might be worth setting up some sort of sticky, entitled "How to choose a good web host" or even, "list oif recommended and tested webhosts". ???
