cPanel/hosting help needed please :)

So I have a hosting account with cPanel and as main domain example1.co.uk.
I recently transferred example1.co.uk to a different hosting provider. I now want to use hosting company 1 for a different website. How do I do this? I have pointed the nameservers of example2.co.uk and replaced the files in the public_html folder with the new ones but when I try to access the website it says it cannot find it.
Have I done anything wrong? Or is it to do with the fact that example1 is set as main domain in the cPanel?

Have you asked the hosting company and/or the domain name registrar, as this is more the type of problem for them to help you with directly...

You need to ask your hosting provider to change Domain1 to domain2.co.uk from root WHM, this will created DNS zone and apache entry for your domain2 on the server end, this should solve your problem.
