Basically, looking to see which type of hosting everybody uses here and how much they spend on their package. Each service obviously has its perks, I'm just looking to see what the general preference is across the board :)

Reseller here, easier (and more cost effective) for myself and my clients. Around £40 a month I believe, might be more, just comes out by DD lol.

We actually run a hosting business and most of the clients we have that are web designers go for reseller accounts. It's generally easier to manage as all accounts are under one 'main account'. We do have a couple of web designers that have just started on VPS packages but for the most part, reseller accounts are fine :)

@roothost - £40 sounds a lot IMO.

It's a fair price for the service, features and extras IMO.

Out of interest, can you provide a full break down of the features, etc with your Reseller plans?

Maybe I can be swayed???

I use a couple of VPSs from Webfusion, they cost £25 a month. If a client already has hosting I prefer them to handle it themselves - it's nice to have your sites spread across many IPS.
