I have almost finished adding my own content to a flash website template I have purchased. The template also came with a HTML version which I will be adding the same content to.

How can I offer the user the option to load the HTML version if their browser does not support Flash. I know the 'get flash player' option will automatically appear for them, but I want them to be able to go to the HTML site should they wish. Can this be done without having some sort of splash page as the index?
I also believe this will negate the problem of seearch engines not seeing any text from my site had it of been a flash only option.

You can do an enter page saying enter site and small writing saying enter text version under it
or you can have a small button in top left or something that links you to the text version

I think it would be best to have a minimal page with two large buttons, one for HTML and one for flash, and let them choose before entering. You could also have a little 'I Don't know' button for those that don't know what HTML or flash are (believe me there are many!) so that they can just load whichever one you want to be default.
