Hi guys.

I have tried to use my Kingston Datatraveler USB flash drive today but I keep getting an error message which says something like "Please insert a disk into drive F:". I have tried to format the drive but can't format it either. Also when I look in the drive properties it says I have 0 bytes Used and 0 bytes Free space. I've noticed it's also a RAW file system.

I've googled this for ages and tried various tools to help me recover the drive. Is there a free Kingston utility out there which could help me recover this? Or can anyone suggest any other method that would help me revive the drive?

I don't have anything I want to recover. I just want to make it usable again.

Thanks in advance.

The HP Drive Key Boot Utility is quite good at reviving dead flash memory.

Thanks for the reply. I just tried that but to no avail. Does anyone else have any other ideas?
