Please note that the other companies in the area have a history and are therefore the first results Google will give for a relevant search. You won't get good search rankings on anything other than your company name overnight, so take that into account. You might want to read up on how Google's search algorithm works, so you know what bidders can and can't deliver.

Hi Max.
The quotes here are likely to be higher than what we said on the other thread as the amount of work has increased. I'm sure you know that but just letting you know.

All the best.

There's quite a bit of competition, and for SEO you need to consder far more than just Google. Also Google rankings are much more about how their "search algorithm" works. Something to consider is that you may need one company to work on your design/development and hosting and perhaps another to deal with your SEO. SEO is very much ongoing, paying a one off fee to achieve anything is a waste of time.

If you want top ranking then you need to pay for it. I find you can obtain a successful balance by knowing your business. If someone wants a black cab tour of Belfast, where are they going to look?? I don't know the business but I'm guessing a nice leaflet targeting hotels and B & Bs is going to get you a decent response.

With regards to SEO, sometimes it's not always the keywords that you think of. Maybe there are words or phrases which would attract hits. For example instead of just the word "tour", you want "guided tour", ok that's a really simple example but you get what I mean. When you're competing with SEO in a busy market you have to be clever.

I've worked with some excellent SEO specialists who get results, but you're unlikely to get anything for less than £500 a month. Is it worth paying that for a business that might get better results from a leaflet drop. There'll be local company who operate the tourist leaflet stands etc, get yourself listed.

If I were visiting Belfast and wanted a tour, would I book in advance over the internet, perhaps, but I'm not sure. It's more something I would arrange when I arrived. People arrive by Ferry or at the Airport, they would be my first targets.

Sorry to be long winded. But I've seen so many business pay out a fortune for SEO for a business that actually doesn't get much business on the internet. Research your business and come up with a strategy.

........and good luck!

I agree, it will be very though to get high ranking right away. I'd be interested in working on the website, except the SEO part.
