Hi after bit of advice have a static .php site, does well on google for my purposes,
Heard allot of good stuff about wordpress, & the fact google likes content etc,
originally plan was to migrate wordpress as main site, but cant afford to risk losing existing rankings etc,
folder is sitename/wordpress as is, have seo all in one installed, key words etc,
is it Google ok to submit new site as is >?
not sure if will compromise existing php static site,
any one give me there thoughts on ok or not to submit for seo,
Thanks

You need to make sure that all of your indexed URL's are re-directed to the corresponding new URL's. That is the best you can do if you are changing the site's URL structure.

Additionally, make sure these redirects are proper 301 redirects, that set the correct headers - it is this 301 header that will ensure you don't loose rankings when moving content. A framed redirect of basic redirect won't do this.
