Which SSL would you recommend?

Having previously used Heart Internet GeoTrust basic SSL, at £40 per annum I think there can be better deals.
The SSL will be implemented on a Prestashop store

you can get cheaper eg http://www.123-reg.c...l-certificates/
however, to transfer to your server you will need a dedicated IP address which will probably cost you 20quid a year anyway.

Never thought I'd say this, but that's a pretty good deal and it would actually work out cheaper buying the SSL cert through 123reg and getting it installed on my own hosting - as I definately wouldn't want to use hosting from 123 reg.

Just got this message from Heart Internet:-
"Unfortunately RapidSSL certificates are not supported by our Servers. To use SSL it must be purchased through Heart Internet."
rapidSSL are good value. This seems a bit of a con that you MUST buy theirs only..
I guess this also rules out COMODO

Quite convenient that there server ONLY supports their own SSL certificates.

That's a fairly typical response from a larger company to be honest - they've probably worked out in their business model that's it's not worth their time installing and maintaining external SSL certificates.
If you;re feeling evil, you could stir the pot a little and ask "what do I do then if I want to use my own certificate with my heart internet hosting"

You should be prepared for a lengthy registration process and they aren't the cheapest but just like everything there are levels of security.
Different types of certificates do different things and different providers perform different checks... for me it's the best balance of price vs security.
