I have a windows vista ultimate laptop.When I bought it it had Windows
xp on it.I upgraded it to windows vista then it started rebooting.So
when the computer shop people tried to put Windows xp the computer
didn't respond they said that it is beacause of the sata harddisk.After
somehow they put Windows xp.then my dad put windows vista again.Now it
works properly.but I want to put windows xp now should i do it?

The solution is to create a special WinXp install disc that contains the required SATA drivers, it's a process known as 'Slipstreaming'.
You need a WinXP install disc (+ product key) and piece of freeware called 'nLite' plus of course the required SATA drivers and these you should be able to find at the manufacturers website or around the web someplace. The nLite pakage will build an install disc complete with anything else you want pre loaded like service packs and can be congfigured for unattented installation.

Well, you'd better buy or purchase the license of window seven ultimate. That is a great version to use.
