Hi guys,
I recently set up an email address for a client from Webs.com. I sent a few test emails from the account and for some reason it works when sending them to my Hotmail address, but not to the address from my personal website.
This is the error message I receive:
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<info@olicorse.com>
(reason: 550-"JunkMail rejected - imta-35.everyone.net (imta-38.everyone.net))

Any idea why this is? I asked the support people at Webs.com and they said it was an issue with my ISP and that I should talk to them, but my client has also logged in and tried sending a message from a different IP address and is having the same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Oli

Have you asked your ISP, as it's quite common nowadays for them to block port common SMTP ports when using a 3rd party mail server. The majority of web hosts nowadays has an alternative that will probably use SSL and a different port number to 25.
Saying that, I've just noticed your mail server has been reported for spam - you'd need to speak to the people who host your email for that, as you won't be able to solve that yourself.
BTW: if the mail server has been blacklisted, then sending using a different client IP will have no effect. In this case, it is your web host who needs to sort the issue. That "550-"JunkMail rejected" is also worrying, as that could be possible DNS hijacking worse case scenario. Do you know what DNS servers are you are currently using?
