Hello All,

I am working for Betsson a betting company based in Malta and we are looking for an intern.

Below the internship description:

Do you like fun, sun, and games?
Then apply for the Betsson Creative Internship

Do you like fun, sun and games and you have a passion for design or copywriting? Then the Betsson Creative Internship could be the thing you have been looking for.

Just imagine this: three months in the sunshine, beaches, and a great way to grow your creative skills and get a nice experience to put in both your heart and on your CV. Sounds good? Then you should apply for the Betsson Creative Internship in Betsson’s offices in Malta.

Betsson Creative is Betsson’s inhouse advertising group and creates graphics, campaigns, print-ads and more for betsson.com and its partners. We are a team of eight that work together in a relaxed but fast-paced environment and try to share as many laughs and creative ideas as possible to make Betsson keep outrunning the competitors when it comes to online gaming.

You would be a part of the team and get busy from the get-go, creating selling promotions. You would of course also get all the training possible, as this is a chance for you to get to develop your skills and learn among the best in the industry. Who knows, if you impress us, maybe you will be offered a job?

Pm me your CV and portfolio

Practical details
Free travel to and from Malta - 500EUR per Month
We will set you up with a computer and the required software

Hi Julien

I'm really interested in this position. Which dates would you want candidates to work? Also would you be able to help with accommodation?

That's like...£200 a month. Daylight robbery IMO, but good luck anyway if you get it.

It's more than double that. Still not a great wage but the experience imo would make up for it

Good question Lev. There was recently an issue over this I believe certainly here in the UK where the point arose that companies were just using interns as free labour. I think the issue was whether they should command at least minimum wage.
Most companies were covering it up with the usual cliche phrases - "Fantastic opportunity" probably being the most cliche'ed of the lot.

Personally having sat next to the interns (all very nice people) at my last job - yes. I think they should get paid minimum wage. Especially when the boss takes the credit for everything they do. I think my last company did start paying them (peanuts) after a couple of months which at least was something.

Also - @brightonmike - surely 500 euros is more than 200 quid?

Absolutely.
Yes some of them may be a fantastic opportunity but that's no excuse for slave labour. Interns should command at least minimum wage if not more.
At least 500 Euro's is a good token gesture.

If i believe correctly, we're almost level (pound/Euro) at the moment.
