Hi everyone,

I have recently started up my own web design company as a sole trader - Pixo Media. I am currently reviewing my business model and would like to talk to those interested in collaborating with me on future projects - essentially a business partner.

Ideally this would suit someone who is highly experienced with Web & Graphic Design but is not so good with running the business side of things and who is looking to 'be the boss' but doesn't know where to start.

Alternatively, this would also suit those who are freelance web designers and looking for alternative means of income whilst still being able to maintain their own source of income.

Currently this will be a work-from-home role until the business is in a postion to work from separate premises, which will be located in London.

You must located within a reasonable distance from London, have proven experience in web design and a native English speaker.

All enquiries to Jules c/o info@pixo-media.com.

From your post I get the impression you are more skilled at the business management and promotion side of things, rather than the actual web design. Would that be a correct view?

If that is the case, there may be some value in a collaboration but both parties would need to know what the strengths are of each party, and what each person will bring to the collaboration.

Could you elaborate further on your business success, methods, approach and targets, then I am sure you will get a number of designers making an enquiry.

I am skilled in both management/marketing as well as design/coding. I've been working solo for the last few years in Australia, but I'm looking to establish and expand the business in the near future to take on larger projects/clients. I'm not looking to employ, however I am considering a business partner who is skilled in web design/coding (but is perhaps not so skilled in the business side of things - and would also like to expand into bigger projects), or to collaborate with designers and coders on future projects for bigger clients.

The business is in it's start-up phase, as I mentioned in the original post - this is simply an initial, basic enquiry to see if there are other like-minded designers/coders out there who would like to join forces.
