Hi Everyone,

Basically I had a client in the middle of last year who refused to pay his domain charge (even though i'd already renewed out of my own pocket). Not a big deal but I was left with a domain that I did not need.

Pretty much straight afterwards I changed the settings so that the domain would expire at the end of the year. I cant remember whether I changed them with 1and1 or went higher. Basically they have decided to bill me again for this domain that I do not want, ignoring the fact that I chaged the settings and claiming that I didnt.

II have contacted them and they just basically said that I can cancel it, but no mention or refund. I have emailed again for clarification, but just wanted a little advice from you guys?

The main question: who regulated the sale of domains? Its like communications companies (etc) have Ofcom, so who covers domains, if anyone? And what else can I do about it?

Failing that, does anyone want to but ofinv.com? Selling for £9 1 year registration (exactly what it cost me). You will have to deal with all transfer costs etc (if there are any).

Thanks In Advance
