Music Downloads in VirtueMart Wondering about the best format for whole CD purchase download Rate Topic: -----

Hi - I have a new ecommerce site (using VirtueMart and Joomla CMS) that includes CD and DVD sales from our small label - and I want to offer whole CD and DVD downloads as a purchase option. For CD's I think I could just zip the MP3's together and upload the zip file to my store for purchased download. Is there a better way to do this? I want my customers to have the least complicated download and extraction possible.
DVD's are another matter - Does anyone know what kind of file type or format I should use for DVD downloads?

I've searched the web for these answers, but keep getting linked to music hosting services.
