Anybody know why this is? On safari the colour of the background is how it is supposed to be. On chrome and firefox it appears about 50% brighter and it just doesn't look right at all.

Would be great if anyone could figure this out. :)

Strange one! Got a link? Are you viewing it on the same machine or different machine different browsers. Does the background have any transparency effects etc?

As you can see, safari appears much darker which is the real colour of the background image as it is supposed to be.

Opera, Firefox and Chrome all appear much brighter.

It isn't a massive issue but if it's possible to fix then i'd like to know how.

Alex.

nope nothing has been done to it, its just an image which was resized in photoshop and added to the background. the only css on it i think is that it is aligned to the left slightly.

Id change the colours from a true CMYK to a RGB value that MIGHT help, if your using the logo they supplied (being printers and all)

No problem I cant believe I didnt spot it before not noticing its a printers (the pepsi not kicked in), but I bet its a CMYK / RGB issue, change the file and you might get away with it.

Adjust your screen resolution and brightness ..It will remain same but as you saying that it changes with the browser changing than it may happen than different browser has different resolution..But you can adjust it according to you by setting screen resolution and brightness..
