I'm in the process of setting up a web design company and I'm currently deciding the name.

First things first, I have two routes to go down in terms of company image. It's undecided which of the following I take atm:

1. Quirky, fun and a very strong focus on customer service.
2. More professional and business like. The customer service will be a focus either way but it won't be pushed quite as much with this approach.

I've come up with a few names already...

Men in Monkey Suits - My friend insists this is too long and doesn't portray the right image (thoughts?).

Awaken Design - Pretty sure it won't end up being this because although I like it, I believe there is already a web dev company out there with the name.

Fluid Solutions - was taken by a company in Leeds but they have changed to Fluid Creative Media Solutions.

Any thoughts and/or suggestions are very welcome.

How about just "Monkeys in Suits: A new breed of web designers"

Im with lovelock, theres no point in having a name if you dont follow it completely. You need to be cutting edge either way.

How about Digital Monkeys? and then the same phrase as lovelock, But you need to follow it like your own bible. And with a name like that you have a lot of strong points by saying that your quirky and you will talk to them in terms they understand as 60% of your clients wont even know what 'www' stand for.

But at the same time you need to make them think of u as a business, it comes down to who you act with clients.

Going for a laid back 'attitude' route I think works a lot better for design companys. maybe not so much website conpanys, but up to you at the end of the day.
