I understand a little about stop words and SEO but I am confused about exactly how they are used. I have read some things that say everything after a stop word is ignored by search engines and especially in the title. My product is called The Pickin' Tool. My web site is www.thepickintool.com. The word "the" is in the title of each of my pages, i.e. The Pickin Tool-endorsements, or thepickintool.com/index.php. My web designer did a very good job on the page but has built mainly corporate pages in the past and therefore has had no experience with sales pages and SEO.
When I run SEO tools I get a lot of stop word errors. The Pickin' Tool is my product name, how do I fix these stop word errors? I can't change the name of my product.
