My site (product example page): http://bit.ly/lNLkwF
Website is hosted with TSOHost with Cpanel.
I hope somebody on here can give me a few pointers in right direction.
I have already learnt quite a bit reading posts on here and realized a few things that I had not taken into account earlier regarding E-commerce implementation. What ever solution I end up with I want to be able to create the 'skin' for it in the design I want as well as incorporating things like Galleria or Nivo slider etc. In the end I will perhaps have maximum of 100 products and that's being optimistic.
I have looked at cube-cart, os-commerce and had a quick look at Pay Pal. Pay Pal would fit straight into my site, but I get the impression it looks tacky. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise.
1) E-Commerce solution must be able to generate invoice in PDF format or other format, and perhaps email it to customer. If not it can be printed and put in with the order. Notifications of order(s) of course need to be emailed to myself.
2) Most importantly it has to fit the style and look of my website.
3) I am not interested in fancy widgets or analysis tools.
4) I would like there to be something in the header that says 'Cart and number of products with a cart icon which is a short cut to the cart page'.
5) Not interested in product search system.
6) At the moment I have a 'buy now' button for each product, but I would perhaps like to have with that an 'add to cart' button and / or a drop down menu to select different sized prints.
7) Prefer the solution to be free.
Finally, about receive payment. Obviously, I have no merchant account with anyone and I am not a registered business. I am just making a site should I go down that route. How does payment work with ecommerce software like open cart, magneto, zen cart as in do I enter my bank/merchant details into the software and any payments go direct to my bank / account? Or is it a bit like paypal setup where the user is taken to their actual site and servers and payment is taken that way and put into a registered account so to speak?
Many thanks for time
