We've had good luck with CrossBrowserTesting dot com.

We used Litmus for a bit... But the fact they only provided screenshots (and didn't actually let us remote into the machine) was a major drawback... It is also one of the most expensive tools out there.

Any other recommended tools?

Set up your testing OSs in VMs, with as many browsers as you can find for each. I highly recommend VirtualBox.
