I recently made an online portfolio for my friends artwork in flash mg289(dot)student(dot)eda(dot)kent(dot)ac(dot)uk/Portfolio/ (without www) I am now looking at updating it for her and the first step i want to make is it fitting to whatever resolution the browser is in. It is currently just linking to an SWF file so there is no HTML involved. I understand that when putting a swf "stage" on a html page, you cannot make the backgrounds transparent which limits the seamlessness a bit. However what i want to achieve is something similar to www(dot)secretgardenparty(dot)com/2011/ being able to stretch the swf to the size of the browser window, thus making it able to view the page on any device without some parts disappearing. Whilst doing this however i want the menu at the top right to be static, as in the secret garden party website...So i was wondering.
Is this done through HTML/CSS code or through actionscript? Sorry for links, i would not be able to explain myself otherwise
