So for a site I'm doing for a friend we've gone with a retro TV kind of theme. He's keen to have a 'static' kind of effect when changing the pages, like a TV being tuned and finding a channel.

Is there an easy way to do this, or am I looking at a custom job? My Flash experience is next to none, so I'm curious to what this would involve.

The site is gmpromo.co.uk :)

easiest transition is fade in fade out, just create a white rectangle, give it 0% alpha and then make it a movieclip, in the movieclip you want to put the first frame as 0% alpha, and tween a couple of frames to 100% alpha then another couple of frames tweened back down to 0%, so when placed over an image, it slowly fades out and on the main timeline, get the movieclip to run, just as you change the image so it fades into the next image rather than it just being a static change,

other easy transitions can be made like i said with a movieclip you just get to run as you change the movie such as checker boards and blind effects etc

Plenty of effects on there, hope it helps
