I'm using notepad2, but I really miss the tabs feature.

start up times are painfully slow when you have a lot of projects on the go.
Generally a great all-rounder though

haha, at home I generally have 1 or 2 projects on the go at the same time but work is a different matter (normally 10 or 12 large(ish) projects on the go) so I put up with the slow start up. tbh, once it has started up, it's fine. For quick edits, however, I use geany.

The new version is HTML5 and CCS3 compliant, and haven't really got a bad word to say about it. Debugging can be a bit tricky to get underway, but they give clearer instructions as to the config now (I think they have a generator on their site).

NetBeans is not just free. It's open-source! That means you can take the source code, modify it, and sell it. Although there are some restrictions on what you can do with the source code because of the nature of the open-source license, there is nothing to stop you from profiting from selling a NetBeans 'remix'.
