- Slow loading
- Still produces websites different from current mainstream browsers
- Addon / toolbars drastically slowing load.
- Notifications down the bottom, a stupid place to put them.

Shame we still have to use those horrible IE filters for text-shadow.

is supports css3 well enough especially considering that css3 is still to be ratified and some of the things are a waste of time to have.
slow loading? what machine are you running it on? I have it on a 5 year old laptop with 2Gb RAM and it's faster than Chrome.
all browsers give different results. I've heard about more bugs with FF4 than IE9. And most differences are down to poor coding and other browsers acceptance of poor code.
I don't care for add ons.
that's your preference, doesn't make the product crap. If that were the case then everyone would be saying every browser were crap.

Have you seen the new version of Firefox? That seems quite a bit quicker too.

IE9 is alright; clean design and speed are in it's highlights but it still has some way to go with its rendering engine (it seems to mimic Chrome a bit). It needs to have more support for our JavaScript friends and platforms. The hardware acceleration seems to be just fine on Windows.
(Response as an experienced web designer)
I'd never recommend IE to anyone EVER; In my eyes its a waste [period][full stop] - Chrome and Firefox are MUCH better. Why do I have to code for IE 6 then code for IE7 and add a meta tag to render 8 and 9 the same way?
Madness.
