I guess n/a would mean that Google doesn't even recognise it as being worthy of a page rank haha

Here are what they mean to google:

PR 0: we are aware of the existance of your site thorugh a low number of backlinks, but it doesn't currently have much authority - we won't place much importance on your site for now.

PR says N/A (or grey bar): could mean a few things. We chaven't calculated a PR for you yet (site is too new), Google removed your PR you broke our rules, something has changed and your PR is currently being recalculated (can be good or bad).

Basically (apologies in advance for quoting a rule from the seo cliques handbook), just concentrate of writing quality contabnt that people will want to link to. As your site a typical web design company site - that is very very oversaturated - you have a pretty big challenge ahead :) However, you do have a blog, which is good - but you need to write some good stuff that keeps your looking professional (rounded corners with CSS3 really doesn't make you look too good lol) and is wiorthwhile enough for people to link to.

A P/R of Zero simply means that it hasnt figured out or updated the score for that particular page yet. Its not saying "Your crap", its just saying, "We havent updated our score of that page" (If the page is fairly new, within the last 12 months) but if the page is very old, and been around ages, like a homepage, then it most likely just means "We think its rubbish because nobody else likes it"...

For the most part, your everyday joe blogs websites rank anywhere from 0 to 5, and the 6+ websites are the BIG sites with the BIG budgets to spend thousands every month on adsense, magazines and other promotions.

One thing is for sure, your not doing yourself a ton-o-favours sharing your server in the netherlands with 4500+ websites!!!!!
